Adriana's Story
After being told to go home and make
the most of each day, Adriana began her search for complementary
therapies which would support the work of her Oncologist.
She went to the Gowler Foundation in Melbourne where
she was taught meditation and diet. During this time
Adriana found a Doctor in Sydney who was prepared to
support her while using complementary therapies. Six
months later she was told about Joao de Deus in Brazil.
With very little life-force left, she took an incredible
leap of Faith. This was a turning point for someone
who had no faith. She knew she was terminally ill and
had tried everything; she had nothing left to lose.
Adriana bravely took a long and very scary journey for
someone so ill. She travelled 3 times in 2 years before
being told,
“Daughter, you are free (off cancer).”
She still sees her Oncologist; he is
amazed by her recovery. She was not expected to live.
After being told on her 3rd visit that she no longer
had cancer Adriana was asked by Medium Joao to assist
other people in their healing journey to Brazil.
To date she has facilitated many trips and has guided
numerous people to this incredible place. She says “it
is a blessing to share this experience with others”.
In 1999 Nathan had a prophetic dream
about making a pilgrimage to Corcovado, the famous Christ
Redeemer Statue in Brazil. He made a collage that portrayed
the magnificent statue, and him travelling on the back
of a bird with a message in its beak. Six years later,
Nathan was standing at the base of the statue overlooking
Rio de Janeiro. He was on his way to Joao de Deus for
long distance healing for his loved one in New Zealand.
With a photo in his hand, he was in search of a physical
miracle. 8 months later she passed over as she was destined
too. However the healing of spirit was profound.

On returning home, he found
a piece of paper within the collage that had the
name of the person who asked him to come to Joao
de Deus and his age when they met…
Thank you Val!
Nathan was made a Casa Guide in 2006 and works
with Adriana helping others on their spiritual
journey.
In September 2007, Nathan and
Adriana were married at Casa de Dom Inacio.
Muito obrigado Deus, Joao de Deus, and our loving
family and friends.
